Port Vale boss Micky Adams was left with mixed feelings after the 1-1 draw against Torquay and felt his side should have secured all three points.

Ian Morris's first-half strike put the Gulls in front at Vale Park, but Vale were unfortunate to be behind and they claimed a point when Brian Saah put through his own goal after 69 minutes. Adams said: "I'm a bit frustrated we haven't won the game, but I was very pleased with the performance. I couldn't ask for any more from my players because they gave everything and we've played some very good football. "It says a lot when our fans applauded the players off the pitch at half-time when they were losing and again at full-time when we were drawing. I think everyone here will know we should really have got all three points. "Our general play was excellent and we've put a lot of balls into the danger area. Torquay have needed some last-gasp defending on a number of occasions and that shows how well we've played. "Torquay are a good side and Martin is doing a great job down there, so to perform like that against them gives us a lot to be positive about."
