Port Vale administrator Bob Young has revealed he is planning talks with two potential buyers as he seeks to resolve the future of the troubled club.

Lancashire businessman Keith Ryder remains committed to buying the club after being given preferred bidder status in April. But after Ryder failed to meet Monday's deadline to produce the £1.3million he needed to complete his takeover, Young is now looking at alternative options. He told The Sentinel: "I've put contracts out to two of the parties that were interested in buying the club before. "I have meetings lined up with both and we'll find out if they are serious. "It should be sorted out one way or the other. I'm desperately hoping that's the case."
