Are Leeds taking the Pearce?

Jason Pearce is expected to begin the exodus from Portsmouth by joining Leeds on Friday.

The defender is due to complete his move to Elland Road as Pompey slash their wage bill following administration and relegation to npower League One.
Leeds manager Neil Warnock said: "I'm hoping to make my first signing [on Friday]. I'm looking forward to notching one hopefully and then moving on to my next.
"I'm into talks with quite a number at the minute and it's been a busy 48 hours.
"He's the type of player I look for when I go into a club. At Championship level there's a certain type of lad I'm looking at and he fits everything that I'm looking for, hunger, ability, there's a lot of plusses I look for."
