Celtic to move for Pompey star
Portsmouth, 13:10, March 18, 2010 ,
Portsmouth left-back Nadir Belhadj is believed to be on Celtic's wanted list this summer as they look to fill a problematic position.
Celtic boss Tony Mowbray believes the Algerian could be available for as little as £2.5m amid Pompey's financial troubles.
Belhadj has been widely reported to be one of the players almost certain to leave Fratton Park when the transfer window re-opens at the end of the season as the club looks to balance it's books.
Mowbray currently has Holland's Edson Braafheid as a left-back but the player is expected to return to Bayern Munich when his loan deal expires in May.
However, the Scottish giants are not the only club interested in Belhadj with Spurs, Roma and Barcelona all thought to be eyeing a move for the 27-year-old.
