Winger linked with switch

Portsmouth, 11:40, November 19, 2009 ,

Portsmouth will battle it out with Tottenham for the signature of Marseille's Hatem Ben Arfa when the window opens.

The winger is set to leave the French giants following a bust up with their boss Didier Deschamps and Pompey boss Paul Hart is lining up a swoop for the player.
The 22-year-old will be available on a six-month loan deal with a view to a permanent move next summer but former Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp is also in the hunt and keen to take him to Tottenham.
Tottenham could be favourites to land the player as they push for a place in the top four while Pompey face a battle to beat the drop.
Everton boss David Moyes is also understood to be monitoring Arfa's situation closely.
