Almeida aims to make impact

Hugo Almeida says he will take his chance for Portugal at Euro 2012, with Paulo Bento set to turn to the Besiktas ace against Spain.

Almeida has been a substitute in the tournament so far as Bento has named the same starting XI in all of his country's four games.
However, Helder Postiga's hamstring injury means he will have to change his line-up and Almeida is tipped to start in the semi-final showdown in Donetsk on Wednesday.
He is relishing his chance and has vowed to make an impact.
Almeida said: "I've worked hard to be called into the starting line-up and I'll take this opportunity. I was a little sad not to be included in the starting line-up but when the opportunity comes you have to be at your very best."
