Luis Figo has denied reports that Cristiano Ronaldo is suffering with the pressure of leading Portugal at Euro 2012.
Ronaldo has been criticised for his performance in his country's opening game defeat against Germany, but Portuguese legend Figo has insisted that the team need to do more to help the Real Madrid star. "I don't think Ronaldo is too much pressure, no, as he is used to the pressure at Real Madrid," Figo said. "It is up to the team to provide the opportunities for him. The charactistics of Cristiano is to score goals so if the team don't produce goalscoring chances then he suffers because of it."
