Frustrated Ronaldo lashes out

Cristiano Ronaldo has taken a dig at Lionel Messi after the misfiring Portugal international was mocked by Denmark fans on Wednesday.

Portugal secured a crucial 3-2 victory over the Danes in Lviv but Ronaldo was again a shadow of the player that is so prolific for Real Madrid, leading to chants of 'Messi! Messi!' from the crowd.
Asked about the chants, Ronaldo said: "You know where he was at this time last year? Do you know? He was being eliminated in the Copa America, in his own country. I think that's worse, no?"
