Preston pair Paul Parry and Barry Nicholson remain sidelined for the glamour FA Cup tie against Chelsea at Deepdale.
Winger Parry has a knee problem while Nicholson suffered a broken leg early in the season, but Youl Mawene has a chance of shaking off his own knee trouble.
Mawene has been struggling since November but could be in contention as recently appointed boss Darren Ferguson makes his home debut.
Defender Neal Trotman is unavailable after joining Huddersfield on loan until the end of the season.
