Irvine facing defender decision

Preston North End, 18:36, November 4, 2009 ,

Callum Davidson says he is fit for Preston's trip to Watford on Saturday after completing two full weeks of training.

The North End skipper has been sidelined for the past two months after suffering a hamstring injury on international duty with Scotland, but is now pushing for a recall.
Davidson admits it is now down to the manager whether he features at Vicarage Road, but the full back is now eager to get back into action.
Speaking to the Lancashire Evening Post, the Scot revealed: "I'm fully fit, I was last week, now it's just a case of waiting to get back into the team or squad.
"The last two months have been frustrating, although I've got back to fitness a bit quicker than I expected which is a bonus."
He added: "The physio put together a good recovery programme which has worked really well and now I just want to play some games."
