Marauding Mayor woos Westley

Preston manager Graham Westley has tipped Danny Mayor for the top after the young winger tormented Huddersfield in a 1-0 win at Deepdale.
Preston were without a win in six games, but after goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann twice denied prolific Town striker Jordan Rhodes, Robertson fired the winner for Preston in the 54th minute. Chris Holroyd had earlier struck a post for Preston. All Preston's best work came through Mayor and Westley said: "Danny Mayor was virtually unplayable and if he continues in that vein he could be destined to make it to the very top. "Second-half we were a lot better and we looked a lot more decided in our approach because we gave Huddersfield too much room early on. "We stayed on the front foot and looked a lot more composed and offensively we were very imposing at times. "Both he and Paul Coutts took real responsibility and proved a real handful for Huddersfield. We looked very solid and professional and I never really got the feeling that we were going to concede, even when they were throwing the ball into our penalty area near the end."
