Jose Bosingwa is in line to make his first start for Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night as they face Walsall in the Capital One Cup.
The former Chelsea full-back came off the bench as a second half substitute to help the R's earn a 1-1 draw with Norwich on Saturday, and has been promised a starting role against the Saddlers. Shaun Wright-Phillips is another who can expect a full run-out against the League One outfit but Mark Hughes is likely to be without Bobby Zamora after he suffered a gash to his head at the weekend. The Welshman however is vowing to put out a strong side, even if there are changes, as he targets a good cup run for Rangers this season. Hughes said: "We'll take this competition seriously, without any doubt. I'll pick a team I believe can help us progress into the third round. "I will make changes to the side, but that doesn't mean it's a competition I don't respect. "Jose will come in for his first start and Shaun - who had a great pre-season and has been very unlucky not to feature more so far this season - will play. "Other players who are in and around the first team squad will also get a run out, because they need games to keep them ticking over."
