QPR boss Mark Hughes has revealed that he or his staff won't be scouting at Euro 2012 for potential signings.
The Loftus Road boss, who narrowly failed to lead Wales to Euro 2004, believes that making judgements on players based on their tournament performances can be dangerous. Hughes explained in the Daily Mail: "We know about the players we want and tournament football can give you a false impression of a player's capabilities." QPR have been linked with Birmingham City goalkeeper Ben Foster and former Blackburn Rovers defender Chris Samba, now at Anzhi Makachkala, this week and neither will be playing in Poland and the Ukraine.
