Boss targets away days

QPR boss Mark Hughes says his side must improve their away form if they are to win their battle to beat the drop.

Rangers' midweek win over Swansea followed victories over both Liverpool and Arsenal at Loftus Road which has given Hughes' men a real opportunity to win their battle with relegation. Hughes is now looking for an improvement on the road as the R's prepare to travel to West Brom this weekend, who themselves have not quite ended their own relegation fears. The Welshman told the club's website: "It's crucial that we start to improve on our travels. "If we can carry our home form into our away fixtures, we'll be far more satisfied. "We need to work extremely hard on Saturday, like we did on Wednesday, and if we do that we can make things happen. "It's a key fixture for us at the weekend. We need to recover well and prepare well and make sure we get something out of the game."
