Any hopes QPR had of landing midfielder Danny Murphy have been dismissed by the player who says he is happy at Fulham.
The 35-year-old has had previous spells under Mark Hughes and was being tipped to join him again this summer when his current contract at Craven Cottage ran out. Murphy claims there was no truth in the reports and that he is happy to stay with Fulham until he retires, although he admitted that negotiations over a new deal were dragging on a little. "I have no desire to be anywhere else. There is always speculation when you haven't signed a contract," Murphy told reporters. "You know what it is like with contract talks. They are kind of ongoing, and are never a one-meeting thing. "There are always different parts of contracts that need tweaking and negotiating. "It is just a case of nailing down a few things, little clauses and stuff, but I have got no desire to be anywhere else.
