Hughes eyes Rovers ace

QPR boss Mark Hughes has apparently joined the race to sign Blackburn winger Junior Hoilett but he faces a massive task to land him.
The Canadian international is out of contract at Ewood Park in the summer and will have the pick of interested parties, all the major sides in the Premier League have been credited with an interest at one time or another as have the top sides in Germany. Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes is said to have told Mark Hughes, who apparently wants a replacement for Shaun Wright-Phillips, that he can move for the 21-year-old if the club stay in the Premier League. Rovers want to keep him but that is looking unlikely as they slip closer to the drop and if he were to leave they would require the biggest compensation fee they could land from any suitors, but a compensation fee would be nowhere near the size of a transfer fee.
