QPR boss Mark Hughes has indicated striker DJ Campbell, who is on loan at Ipswich, could have a future at Loftus Road.

The forward had seemingly fallen out of favour with Hughes and sealed a three-month loan switch to Ipswich Town last week. Campbell grabbed a goal on his Ipswich debut in the defeat against Cardiff and hasn't ruled out joining Paul Jewell's Tractor Boys on a permanent basis. However, Hughes has indicated the forward's QPR career may not be over and, with Andy Johnson set to miss the majority, if not the entirety, of the remainder of the season, Campbell could yet return to Loftus Road when his loan spell comes to an end in the new year. "We're looking at all our options," Hughes told the Chronicle. "Obviously DJ's not played for us but circumstances change very quickly in football and fortunes of players and clubs change very quickly. "DJ needs to go and get some games, but you never say never in this game."
