Manages faces axe after midfielder row

Queens Park Rangers, 12:28, December 9, 2009 ,

QPR boss Jim Magilton has been suspended amid claims he headbutted Akos Buzsaky after his side's defeat at Watford on Monday night.

Magilton's future at Loftus Road has been thrown into doubt after the London club announced on Wednesday that he has been suspended with immediate effect and it is holding an internal investigation into alleged events that took place immediately following the 3-1 defeat at Vicarage Road.
Reports claim that the Irishman had a heated row with midfielder Buzsaky in the dressing room immediately after the final whistle which eventually resulted in the Hungarian storming out.
Buzsaky is said to be considering pressing charges against Magilton after the alleged headbutt and QPR could be left hunting for yet another new manager if the QPR boss is found guilty of the allegations.
An official statement from the club said: "The club can confirm that manager Jim Magilton has been suspended with immediate affect pending an internal investigation.
"The suspension relates to an incident which occurred at Monday's Championship fixture against Watford at Vicarage Road. The club will be making no further comment at this stage."
