Miller given R's exit

Queens Park Rangers, 13:09, May 19, 2009 ,

Liam Miller is one of five QPR players who are to be released from Loftus Road this summer, despite only joining the club in January.

The former Manchester United and Celtic midfielder, who on Monday was named in the Republic of Ireland squad to face Nigeria in a friendly at Fulham on May 29, joined the R's on a free transfer from Sunderland at the start of this year. However, after just 13 appearances for the Londoners, Miller has not done enough to earn a longer deal.
Meanwhile Zesh Rehman, who has enjoyed loan spells with Brighton and Bradford, has also been told he can find another club, along with Jake Cole, Danny Maguire and Chris Arthur.
