QPR boss Mark Hughes has teamed up with his former colleague Mike Rigg who has been named as the new technical director at Loftus Road.
It will not be the first time the pair have worked together as they were at Manchester City, Blackburn and the Welsh national side together.
Some might question the timing of the move for the 43-year-old as he leaves the Etihad Stadium with City in with a chance of their first title since the 1960's but he is happy with the move.
"I am very pleased to be here," Rigg told the club's official website.
"When I sat down with the owners and Mark recently they sold the project at Queens Park Rangers to me.
"I see where they want to take the club and it is something I want to be a part of.
"I have worked with Mark in a number of different roles so I have a very good understanding of what he wants and what he needs."
