New QPR defender Ryan Nelsen will be playing for New Zealand in the Olympics this summer after earning a place in their final squad.

The 34-year-old is one of the three over-aged players permitted in the 18-man party for the London Games, with the rest of the group made up of stars who are 23 and younger.
Nelson, who has 46 senior caps for the Kiwis, will also captain the side during the tournament which are guaranteed to be involved in at least three group matches.
His country are scheduled to play Belarus on July 26th, Egypt three days and then Brazil on August 1st.
If New Zealand were to reach the Gold Metal Match (Final) of the competition, then the veteran centre-back wouldn't link up with his new team-mates for pre-season until August 11.
The former Blackburn skipper joined Rangers at the start of the week on a free transfer after being released from a short-term deal with Spurs.
