Despite defeat at the Hawthorns last Saturday Nedum Onuoha still believes that QPR will beat the drop into the Championship.

As the season draws to a close the fight at the foot of the Premier League table looks to be between five clubs with the R's two points above the drop zone, but having played a game more, they are still in serious trouble. Defender Onouha believes that with recent wins over Liverpool and Arsenal the R's are in fine form and he believes they will have enough to stay in the top flight, or at least he hopes so. He said: "At this stage of the season, no-one goes into the final few games and has any easy games to play. "There is always someone trying to prove something somewhere. You just have to look at it that way and try and get as many points as you can. "I am very hopeful of staying up. Hope is the one thing that transcends fear and you have to hope you are going to stay up so in the end things will go your way."
