Adel Taarabt claims other Premier League teams want him but he would prefer to sign an new deal with Queens Park Rangers.
The 23-year-old, who was targeted by Paris St Germain last summer, has just one season left on his Loftus Road contract. The Moroccan playmaker claims there are other Premier League clubs that want to sign him, despite having had his worst season at the club. Mark Hughes became the latest in a long line of managers Taarabt has frustrated when he gave the ball away on the edge of Rangers' box - leading to Manchester United's second goal at Old Trafford last season. However, he did redeem himself a week later by scoring the winner against Spurs to claim a vital three points in the relegation scrap. It was thought that Hughes would listen to offers for the ex-Spurs and Auxerre man this summer, but Taarabt is keen to stay and play a part in the 'Tony Fernandes project'. Taarabt said: "I want to stay at QPR. I have received offers from other Premier League clubs but my deal is until June 2013 and I want to increase the contract. My agent has a document from the club about their long-term project, and it's very interesting to me."
