Striker link denied
Queens Park Rangers,
QPR boss Mark Hughes has not made an official bid for Manchester United's want away striker Dimitar Berbatov.
The 31-year-old looks certain to leave Old Trafford this summer and there has been no shortage of admirers for the Bulgarian who is available at around £5million.
Hughes, who has been busy strengthening his squad all summer, had been linked but he has denied that he has made an official move for the striker.
Speaking after the R's 3-0 pre-season win over League One side Wycombe Wanderers, Mark Hughes told Sky Sports News: "There are a lot of names flying around. That is a new one on me, in fairness.
"At this time of year, there are a lot of names flying around. But we prefer to get the job done, get the business done, and then we announce it."
