Striker set to leave

QPR striker DJ Campbell is being linked with a move to Watford, after reportedly being told he can leave the club after one season.

The local boy had been on the books of the R's as a boy before being released, but he returned before the start of last season for £1.25m from Blackpool and was looking ahead to making a big impact in the Premier League. Injury problems hampered him throughout the season and he only managed to make two starts for Mark Hughes' men and looks set to leave Loftus Road this summer. Watford are among a host of Championship clubs chasing the former Brentford man's signature, but look to be the favourites to sign him.
