Winger linked with move

QPR boss Mark Hughes is said to be considering making a move to bring Tottenham winger David Bentley to the club in a loan deal.

The former England man has seen his career come to a shuddering halt over the past season where a mixture of injury worries and a lack of form meant he did not appear for Harry Redknapp's side and just made two starts for West Ham whilst on loan. Spurs would probably be happy to get him off their pay roll and may be content to do a loan deal whilst Bentley himself would probably jump at a chance to resurrect his career.
