QPR forward Angelo Balanta has signed a new two year contract keeping him at Loftus Road until 2014.
The 21-year-old has made 29 appearances in the first team and found the back of the net on three occasions since his debut in December 2007. He has spent different spells on loan at lower league clubs and has now been rewarded with a new deal. The Colombian-born ace told the club's website: "I've grown up at the Club and come through the youth system, so I'm really pleased to have been given a new contract. "I've got another two years and I'm looking to push on now. I'm going to come into pre-season, work my socks off and see where that will take me. "I've been out on loan a number of times but I'm looking to establish myself here now. "When I went out on loan, I was very young and I was trying to get experience. I'm still only 21 and still learning about the game, but I think I need to kick my career on now. "I know that there'll be a fight to play regular football here next season. There are obviously a number of senior and high profile players at the Club, but I'd love to establish myself and kick my career on at QPR."
