Bougherra hope for Gers

Madjid Bougherra is in line to play for Rangers against Kilmarnock on Saturday despite only just returning from international duty.

The centre-back helped Algeria qualify for the World Cup finals with a 1-0 win over Egypt in Sudan on Wednesday night after missing much of the season through injury.

Assistant boss Ally McCoist insisted Bougherra was in contention after his busy week and said: "I'm not ruling him out of anything."
