Green hopes for boss stay

Ally McCoist's future as Rangers boss remains uncertain but Charles Green insists he wants him to stay.

Rumours have been circulating that McCoist is ready to jump before he is pushed once Green completes his £5.5million newco purchase of the club's assets. However, Green briefly told reporters that he wants McCoist to stay when he arrived for this morning's creditors meeting, while the Gers boss stayed tight lipped and did not comment. The future of McCoist will become a lot clearer in the coming days as will what division Rangers will find themselves in next season.
