Rothen struggling for suitors
Rangers, 14:49, January 21, 2010 ,
Wantaway midfielder Jerome Rothen insists he still has plenty to offer but admits he is struggling to end his Ibrox nightmare.
The 31-year-old is currently at Ibrox on a year-long loan from Paris St Germain but has failed to make an impact and both parties would be happy to see the loan deal come to an end.
Rothen, who is contracted to PSG until 2011, has said he is prepared to take a pay cut in order to secure a move away but that PSG's involvement is not making it easy.
"It was them (Rangers) two months ago who told me I could find another club," he told French radio station RMC. "I have to find a solution.
"It's not easy even though I am prepared to make concessions financially because I want to play and shine on the pitch.
"But they also have to find an agreement with PSG. There have to be discussions with the Parisian club.
"It's up to me to find an interesting challenge. I still have some time. I am open to all offers.
"I still have a lot of desire. I am only 31. I'm not past it."
