Brian McDermott says it is now crucial Reading pick up their first Premier League win after progressing in the Capital One Cup.

The Royals booked their place in the fourth round, where they will play Arsenal at the Madejski Stadium, thanks to a 3-2 win at Queens Park Rangers.
Reading had to come from behind on two occasions to win the game and McDermott is now hoping the victory will lift spirits and spur them on to better performances in the league.
The boss is looking forward to the visit of the Gunners but for now he is fully focused on the league game with Newcastle this weekend, when they will look to pick up their first win.
"It is a good draw, we're really happy with it," he said. "I am sure we'll have a few people at the Madejski Stadium for that.
"We look forward to that but before that we have a big game against Newcastle that we're really looking forward to and tonight's result will be important going into that."
