Inter ace linked

Reading are being linked with a move for Inter Milan midfielder McDonald Mariga, who could be on the move in January.

The Kenya international is deemed surplus to requirements at the San Siro and reports in the Italian press claim he will be allowed to leave when the January transfer window opens. The 25-year-old is a defensive midfielder and boss Brian McDermott is reported to be weighing up a swoop as he looks for a player to help protect his back four. Reading would face competition for his signature though as Premier League rivals Fulham are also said to be interested, according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport.
