Karacan out for Royals

Reading will again be without midfielder Jem Karacan for the trip to Chelsea after he failed to recover from a leg injury.
Boss Brian McDermott opted to leave him out of the squad that took on Stoke City on Saturday and he will again resist the temptation to put the midfielder back in the starting line up until he is fully fit.
Elsewhere, Jason Roberts is again missing through suspension while Jimmy Kebe is also unavailable due to a hamstring problem so McDermott is like to stick with the side that drew 1-1 with the Potters.
Goalkeeper Stuart Taylor is available after signing a one-year deal but will have to settle for a place on the bench.
Meanwhile, McDermott knows Reading are in for a tough time after watching Chelsea run out 2-0 winners at Wigan on Sunday.
"They are the best team in Europe," he said. "I thought they were really, really good on Sunday. They started off really well. They got a couple of goals early on and could have scored another one when Fernando Torres went through.
"But it will be a great challenge for us tomorrow night."
