Karacan shrugs off pressure claims
Jem Karacan says there is no pressure on Reading this season and they are approaching the trip to Liverpool next with confidence.
The Royals, who have drawn three and lost three so far this season, go to Anfield next for one of the club's stand-out fixtures on their return to the top flight.
They are still looking for their first win of the season but Karacan says it is in no way time to panic and the fact they have managed successive 2-2 draws with Newcastle and Swansea over the past few weeks points to better to come from Brian McDermott's side.
"We're unbeaten in three games now and we've played a good Newcastle and Swansea side and beaten QPR in the Capital One Cup," he said.
"We can take that confidence into Liverpool now. At the end of the day we're scoring goals, getting points on the board against teams that finished in the top ten last season."
He added: "There's no pressure. We've all been dreaming about the opportunity to play in the Premier League. I know I have since I was a kid."
