Reading could welcome back midfielder Mikele Leigertwood for the visit of Nottingham Forest in the npower Championship.
Leigertwood missed the recent victories at Brighton and Southampton with a knee injury sustained in the 2-0 win against Leeds on Good Friday but may return to the Royals' matchday squad against Forest. However, manager Brian McDermott will continue to be without several first-team regulars. Jem Karacan has been sidelined for the remainder of the campaign with a broken ankle, while Matthew Connolly has not regained full fitness following his own ankle problem. Midfielder Jay Tabb required an injection ahead of the win at Southampton on Friday and he will be monitored in the build-up to kick-off at the Madejski Stadium and Hal Robson-Kanu is a doubt after missing the trip to St Mary's because of injury. Back-up goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen remains out of action with a knee knock and Joseph Mills continues his recovery from a quad injury.
