McAnuff: Agents are not all bad
Reading's Jobi McAnuff wants to change the way football agents are perceived.
The winger has paired up with good friend Lionel Morgan, once a forward with Wimbledon, to set up Infinite Sports Management - and he plans to make the business his full-time job when his playing days are over. But McAnuff is not in it simply for the money."There are good agents and companies out there, but a lot of people look at it as a short-term thing," he told the Reading Post."I've been in situations where the agents have not acted in my best interests."Me and Lionel feel we can do it the right way and still be successful."Make no bones about it, it is a business and we want to be sustainable within a certain period of time, but we just think there's a way of doing it and we're sure we can still make it successful."
