McDermott weighs up alterations

Brian McDermott could decide to alter his team for the trip to Swansea City on Saturday, with Jason Roberts pushing for a start.

The Royals travel to Wales looking for their first win of the season and to gain revenge on the Swans following their defeat in the 2011 Championship play-off final. McDermott has a no new injury concerns to deal with ahead of the game, with goalkeeper Adam Federici the only absentee as he continues his recovery from a knee injury. Mikele Leigertwood is a slight doubt following a dead leg against Newcastle but should be fit to play at the Liberty Stadium. Given Swansea's style of play McDermott might decide to alter his line-up and Roberts, who made his first appearance of the season against the Toon, is looking for a start.
