Midfielder looks to play

Reading, 11:36, January 21, 2010 ,

Reading midfielder Scott Davies is looking for a run of games in the first team after returning to the club from his loan spell.

The attacking midfielder has been a success at Wycombe who had wanted to make the move permanent but were priced out of the deal.
Now Davies is looking for a run in the first team, he told the Evening Post: "There was talk of making it into a transfer rather than a loan, but I'm not too sure about sums of money.
"I spoke to the Wycombe owner (Steve Hayes) after the game on Saturday and he said they were priced out of a bid, so I've no idea what kind of money Reading are after.
"Being on loan for two years has been quite difficult. I would like to think I have a future at the club and feel I can progress my game at Reading.
"Wycombe wanted me to stay longer, but I felt I had done enough there to come back to Reading and stake my claim on the first-team."
