Midfielder set to return

Reading's Czech Republic international midfielder Marek Matejovsky will be in action for the reserves on Wednesday.

It will be his first game for two months since damaging ankle ligaments at Nottingham Forest on the opening day of the season and boss Steve Coppell is looking forward to him being available for selection again.

Coppell told the Evening Post: "He has joined in and trained with the rest now, and the ankle looks fine. He will almost certainly play tomorrow.

"It is a boost for us as we have players coming back now."
