Reading club skipper Graeme Murty has reiterated his desire to come back to the Madejski when his loan spell at Charlton ends.
Murty is in a second month of a spell at the Valley, although he has a 24-hour recall clause in the deal, but he maintains he is looking forward to returning to play for the Royals.
"I have another four games at Charlton," Murty told the Evening Post. "I want to be at Reading, but I need first-team football to prove to the manager I am fit. Someone from the club comes and watches every game I am involved in so they will know all about me.
"This month is different as I have 24-hour call-back if they need me, so I think it's a win-win situation.
"I am definitely hoping to play for Reading this season. I can't see any change at the moment but circumstances change.
"If you look at Leroy Lita, he was out on loan and out of favour, but he has come back and started his second game in a row, so I have to look at that and take some inspiration from him."
