Reading boss Brendan Rodgers has admitted the club have problems in attack and he will be looking to add to his front line.
The Royals boss was speaking after the club's 0-0 draw with Swansea on Tuesday where they spent most of the match on the back foot but came away with a point.
"It was a determined and resilient performance but we were on the back foot for most of the second half," said Rodgers.
"It was a clean sheet which is our second from three games but we have a problem up front as we still haven't scored a goal.
"Our first few matches have been good learning curves for our young players and we will improve but Swansea are an excellent side playing good football and I must pay tribute to them.
"On our part we showed great determination but we do need something more up front."
