Rosenior in Royals pledge
Reading, 12:29, August 31, 2009 ,
Defender Liam Rosenior has dismissed the prospect of him leaving Reading for Premier League Hull before Tuesday's transfer deadline.
The 25-year-old stopper has been linked with a move to the KC Stadium as Tigers chief Phil Brown was looking to bolster his defensive options. However, Rosenior, who has enjoyed two seasons at the Madejski Stadium, insists he has no intentions of leaving the club.
He told the Reading Evening Post: "I think there's always going to be rumours about Reading players.
"I don't want to go anywhere and have no interest in going anywhere, maybe it shows I'm doing a half decent job here, but I've got no interest in moving.
"I'm still young and I want to be in the Premier League, but I want to be in the Premier League with Reading."
It seems that Hull's swoop for Sunderland's Paul McShane over the weekend will reduce the possibility of Brown trying to tempt Rosenior into a move, while he revealed they are lining up a Premier League stopper should Michael Turner leave City for pastures new.
