Royals agree fee over star's exit

Reading, 08:47, August 11, 2009

Hull City will look to wrap up the signing of Reading's Stephen Hunt after agreeing a fee for the Republic of Ireland midfielder.

The Royals have confirmed that the 29-year-old will travel to the KC Stadium for contract talks and a medical before possibly completing the switch back to the Premier League.
Hunt is away on international duty ahead of Ireland's friendly with Australia on Wednesday, but the Tigers will look to have him on board in time for their Premier League curtain-raiser at Chelsea this weekend.
Hun, who signed for Reading from Brentford in 2005, has made 173 appearances for the Royals, scoring 20 goals, and was heavily linked with Sunderland when Roy Keane was at the helm at the Stadium of Light last summer.
