Royals boss' faith in frontman

Reading, 18:41, February 5, 2010

Royals boss Brian McDermott must decide on who partners Shane Long but he has no new injury concerns for the Doncaster clash.

The Republic of Ireland frontman secured McDermott's first league win a week ago and he will retain his starting place - to be paired with one of Simon Church, Grzegorz Rasiak, Nicholas Bignall or Gunnar Thorvaldsson.

Marek Matejovsky's abdominal injury is expected to keep him out for around another fortnight while Noel Hunt (knee), Chris Armstrong (knee) and Julian Kelly (shoulder) are all out.

On-loan Blackburn defender Zurab Khizanishvili is still waiting to make his debut after signing last month while centre-back Matt Mills will come up against his former club.
