Striker set to return

Reading have no fresh injury problems ahead of the Peterborough clash, but boss Brian McDermott is likely to make changes.
The Royals go into the Capital One Cup clash as fresh as a daisy after Saturday's game with Sunderland was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, so the changes could be minimal. Reading do not have a game this weekend either due to Chelsea's participation in the European Super Cup, so McDermott could decide to field his strongest possible side. Jem Karacan is still working his way back from a broken ankle and will sit out, while Jimmy Kebe will not be available until after the international break as he recovers from a hamstring strain. Striker Jason Roberts is back from suspension and could play, as McDermott looks to put on a show for the fans following Saturday's disappointment. "To have a game postponed in August is very odd," he told the club's website. "It's disappointing for all our fans who have travelled and it's cost them a lot of money. "It's hard for them because financially that's an expensive trip and that's what I'm more sorry about."
