Sochaux striker Modibo Maiga has set his heart on a move to the Premier League, as Reading continue to be linked with a swoop.
The Royals have already added Pavel Pogrebnyak to their ranks but Brian McDermott is in the hunt for another striker and the Mali international is said to be on his wanted list. West Ham and Stoke are also showing an interest in the 24-year-old and the player claims he would jump at the chance to move to England, if a deal can first be agreed with his club. Maiga has already seen a move to Newcastle fall through and is hoping to get another chance to move to England. "My dream has always been to play in the Premier League, the best league in the world," the player revealed. "I almost joined Newcastle, but it did not happen. "It is still my ambition to play in the Premier League, so if a team wants to talk I will listen to them once they have reached an agreement with Sochaux."
