Rochdale manager John Coleman has secured the services of Macclesfield striker George Donnelly for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old had signed a two-and-a-half-year contract at the Moss Rose in January, after an initial loan spell from Fleetwood. He scored seven goals in 32 appearances but could not prevent the Silkmen from dropping out of the Football League. Coleman told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to have landed George. "I've been tracking him for a long time and to secure his signature so early in the close season is fantastic. "He's not 24 until the end of the month so he is still relatively young and has lots of potential. "He'll fit in well here and will be a real asset to the club, I'm really looking forward to working with him."
