Steve Evans described Rotherham's first-half display as "exhilarating" as they hammered Yorkshire rivals Bradford 4-0 at the New York stadium.

The demolition job started after just 55 seconds when Michael O'Connor drilled home a shot from 25 yards and Gareth Evans added a second 24 minutes in. Ben Pringle scored the Millers' third before half-time and Evans put the icing on the cake with a fourth late on, much to the delight of Evans.
The former Crawley boss said: "The performance was good and the crowd were fantastic. We showed in the first half how we can play.
"Full credit to the players because it was a big game for us. Before the game we said it would be tough because they are a good side and they've got good players and are well organised, but they've gone away conceding four and they have probably got off lightly.
"The performance in the first half was exhilarating. Every time we went forward we passed and moved it. The passing and the movement speaks for itself."
