Steve Evans felt aggrieved after Sam Hoskins' late effort was ruled out for offside against Aldershot, denying Rotherham victory.
The hosts came from behind twice courtesy of goals from Guy Madjo and Peter Vincenti to bag themselves a point, with Gareth Evans and Hoskins netting for the visitors. It was anything but a dour end-of-season clash and both sides ended with 10 men after Millers defender Tom Newey and Shots substitute Jordan Roberts saw red. "That was a fantastic game of football," said Evans. "There were two teams who tried to play football the right way, and I think we had more reason to be disappointed. "Hoskins has scored a perfectly good goal at the end there and the delayed reaction of the linesman shows you he wasn't sure. I have seen it after the game and it wasn't offside. "We thought there was a handball in the build up to their first goal, I think everyone in the ground saw that. The ball has clearly been controlled with his hand and the ref hasn't given it, and they've scored from it. "I was disappointed to give the lead up twice. Sam Hoskins was superb. His second goal was something really special, something worthy of winning any game of football."
