Millers target loan market

Rotherham will look to the loan market to strengthen their squad after the fringe players failed to impress in Tuesday's loss to York.
The Millers made their permitted five changes for the New York clash, with Andy Warrington, Lionel Ainsworth, Keiran Agard, Alex Revell and Jason Taylor all coming into the team. But it was a disjointed performance and Raynor feels the players given a chance to impress let themselves down. "Some players will pay the price for that, we gave some opportunities to players and they didn't grasp it," he said. "The transfer window opens again in a few days time so that will be interesting viewing. "People knock on the door and say they're ready and should be playing, they got that chance but they didn't take it. If we strive to be better then people will fall by the wayside. "I don't think too many people will be knocking on the door on Thursday and Friday saying they should be playing. They had the opportunity to make a positive impact and they haven't done that which is a real shame."
